Quick answers to what people ask most before they book.

01Can I see the studio before I book?

Yes, and it’s free. On the booking page, choose any room and select Studio Tour as the booking type: a 15-minute guided viewing at a time that suits you. It’s a request rather than an instant confirmation, and we confirm your slot by email. Prefer to just ask? Email hello@12tribesstudios.com.

02Does my booking come with an engineer?

It depends on the room, and it’s always clear at booking:

  • The Lounge includes crew on every booking.
  • The Wooden O and The Chamberlain can be booked with a producer or self-managed at a lower rate, with a 15-minute technical handover and a producer on call in the building.
  • The Yard, our green screen studio, can be booked with crew, or on its own without an engineer so you can bring your own engineer and kit.
03I record a weekly show. Do you offer block bookings?

Yes. If you record weekly, fortnightly or monthly, talk to us about a series booking: you lock in your room and your slot across the run, and we’ll agree rates that reflect the commitment. Email hello@12tribesstudios.com with your schedule and we’ll build it around your show.

04Can I reschedule?

Yes, once for free. For half-day and full-day bookings we need 7 or more days’ notice, and for hourly sessions 72 hours or more. After that, rescheduling costs 25% of the booking value and depends on availability.

05What if I need to cancel?
  • Hourly sessions: full refund at 72+ hours’ notice, 50% refunded at 24–72 hours, and no refund under 24 hours.
  • Half-day and full-day: full refund at 14+ days’ notice, 50% refunded at 7–14 days, and no refund under 7 days.

In the 50% windows you can take 100% as credit instead.

06What’s included with my booking?

Every booking includes everything you need to walk in and start recording:

  • The studio, set up your way: tell us the layout you want and we’ll have it ready before you arrive.
  • Two cameras on every booking: two angles as standard, and a third camera for a wide shot of everyone can be added when you book.
  • Professional lighting: set for your look and the space.
  • An engineer onsite or on call: they run the technical side so you can focus on the conversation.
  • A proper cuppa: tea, coffee or something cold on us, so you and your guests are comfortable from the first minute.
07Can you livestream my session?

Yes. Sessions can be streamed live to YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn or a private corporate feed, ideal for webcasts, panels and town halls, with live graphics and real-time switching. See Social Livestreaming on the Services page, and tell us the platform when you book.
