Craft First
Every surface, fixture and acoustic panel in our studios was chosen because it improves your output. We don’t do aesthetic at the cost of function.
A premium podcast studio in London, at 152–154 Curtain Road in Shoreditch.
12 Tribes Studios was born from a simple frustration: London’s creators deserved a better podcast studio. Better acoustics, better light, better design, and a booking experience that respected their time.
We built it at 152–154 Curtain Road. Four studios. One location.
Curtain Road is theatre ground. The Curtain playhouse opened just off this road in 1577, and in the 1590s Shakespeare’s company, the Lord Chamberlain’s Men, performed there. Our rooms carry that story.

Every company of players needed somewhere to gather before the show. This is ours.

Named after “this wooden O”, Shakespeare’s phrase in Henry V for the round playhouse. Fitting for a room where the conversation happens in a circle.

Named after the Lord Chamberlain’s Men, Shakespeare’s company of players, who performed at the Curtain playhouse just down Curtain Road.

Named after the yard of an Elizabethan playhouse: the open floor in front of the stage, and the biggest space in the house.
Three commitments behind every room, every booking and every frame.
Every surface, fixture and acoustic panel in our studios was chosen because it improves your output. We don’t do aesthetic at the cost of function.
From the booking process to the session itself, everything is designed around your creative workflow, not ours. Your time is sacred here.
12 Tribes Studios is built on a belief in the power of story, community and lasting impact.
Four rooms, one standard.
